Resilience: An important film for our community

Parents, school staff and community members are invited to view and consider strategies that may increase resilience for children and families.

  • There may be more steps to initiate after a community discussion about resilience.

FREE EVENING CARE at BRMS in the Health & Wellness Room provided by the Greater Burlington Y. THIS IS LIMITED TO A TOTAL OF 30 K-5th grade STUDENTS.

The Y will provide spaghetti dinner and a children's movie to the student in the evening care program. Families wanting their child to attend evening care, while they attend the the adult only Resilience movie and discussion must email Connie.arceneaux@cesuvt.org to sign-up in advance. Sign-up limited to 30 students K-5th grade. SIGN UP BY 3PM on Oct. 25th.

Aaron Little, Transportation Supervisor

Mount Mansfield Modified Union School District and Chittenden East Supervisory Union are pleased to announce the hiring of Mr. Aaron Little as our Transportation Supervisor. He will begin on October 30, 2017.

Mr. Little has spent over 19 years in the transportation industry in various roles. He began his career at SSTA as a Special Services Para Transit Operator where he was responsible for managing vehicle transportation for individuals with disabilities, ensuring compliance with FTA regulations and training paratransit operators. He then worked at Green Mountain Transit Agency/CCTA for over 15 years, starting as the Kiosk Coordinator and then moving to their Operations Supervisor and lastly their Operations Manager. At GMTA/CCTA he was responsible for supervising all transportation personnel, managing all regional transit operations, managing the operations budget and ensuring compliance with all regulations. He most recently worked at Tri-Valley Transit to increase public transportation in that area. Since 2005, Aaron has participated in many professional development opportunities in the transportation sector gaining experience and instruction on topics ranging from transit management to transit safety, security and leadership. He holds a Class B CDL with passenger endorsement.
